Aaru's First Birthday - A Day That I Always Dreamt Of

Dec 19 2015 was your first Birthday. I was waiting for this day since a long time and I had proper preparations for it. In fact it took me a month to arrange everything. Your Mom came to Sitapur only on 18 Dec evening.

Again, you came to me only on the evening of Dec 18 15 and left on morning of 20th Dec. Such a heartless woman. 20th Dec was worst day of my life. She created a nuisance that day. She could not even celebrate your Birthday with us. I was totally broken and I took the decision of never coming back in your Mom's life. (20th dec will be a separate post.)

When you called me Papa Ji for the first time

It was November 25th 15 when me, your mom and you went out to shop for your first birthday. We purchased a birthday dress for you. A beautiful red and white frock wih frill. We shopped at Alambagh Lucknow. Your Mom was living with her parents and not coming back. She could never understand my (and your grandparents) pain. I used to meet you only ocassionally. The the only way for me to always with you were your video recordings and photos. Anyways ....

While returning we went into a restaurant to have some snacks. You had just started speaking in broken words like cha cha cha cha ..... ta ta ta ta ta .. haaa ta, aa gya, ma ma ma ma and sometimes ma ma ji (mom). I also wanted to hear papa ji and tried to do this in restaurant. I started saying pa pa pa pa in front of you and you repeated. You said it thrice papaji papaji papaji .... It was an amazing feeling.

This was the time when you had started responding, you were getting naughtier day by day and I wanted you in front of me every moment. But my hard luck. It was only a dream for me. I missed everything.

You Arrived

It was 19th December 2014, early morning, very foggy and cold weather outside. Your Mom started feeling pain and uneasiness. We took her to Devika Surgicals, Aliganj Lucknow and they admitted her saying a new member is arriving shortly.
We (your dad, grand parents, chachu, mausa and mausi ji) were waiting outside the labor room. Doctor called me and you were in my lap. THE ANGEL HAD ARRIVED. I was on top of this world, happiest person on earth.
Your little legs, tiny palms, charing face, you looked like a doll. DADs DOLL
